This database is not a substitute for testing your stuff
Please note that the amount of active substance present is an estimate only as our technology cannot directly measure dosage or purity. Our spectrometer provides a rough percentage of psychoactive content in a sample. We use this combined with the weight of the pill to reach these estimates. The estimated dosage should be treated as an indication only and we recommend caution.
Pills containing more than one dose of MDMA
These pills are estimated to contain up to three doses in a single pill. A common dose of MDMA is around 80-120 milligrams, depending upon a user’s body weight. We recommend weighing your doses wherever possible.
Taking too much MDMA can result in a very unpleasant experience, health risks, and even death. If you or someone you know has taken any of these pills and experiences the following, seek medical attention immediately.
- Dizziness

- A sharp rise in body temperature

- Heart palpitations

Pills containing MDMA and another substance
These pills were found to contain a mixture of MDMA and at least one other psychoactive substance such as cathinones, caffeine, or methamphetamine. These pills are higher risk than others as they will test positive for MDMA when using a reagent test and give the illusion of being low risk. As both MDMA and the additional psychoatives we’ve found have stimulant properties there is a higher risk of overamping. Overamping feels like
- Racing heartbeat or palpitations
- Chest pain
- Cold sweats
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Irregular breathing

Pills containing no MDMA
These pills were found to contain no MDMA or nothing psychoactive.
Mephedrone produces similar effects to MDMA, but is described as ‘speedier’ and is active in lower doses. A common oral dose is 100-200mg. It has been implicated in a small number of deaths overseas.
Methylone, also known as bk-MDMA, has similar effects to MDMA but is less potent in terms of dose. A common dose is 150-200mg. The identified pill also contains caffeine. This increases the risk of harm as combining stimulants can cause heart problems and psychosis.
Cathinones such as mephedrone and methylone can be dangerous when taken with alcohol, tramadol, or MAOI antidepressants. They can cause insomnia and anxiety, and in high doses, psychosis.

Blue pharmaceutical-type pill Weight: 190mg Sold as Bromazolam. Contained desethyletonitazene and fillers. Desethyletonitazene is a new nitazene that can be 10 times as potent as fentanyl. Fentanyl test strips won’t react to desethyletonitazene or any other nitazine, but you can pre-order nitazene test strips from The Level. Found May 2024 |  |
Green naughts and crosses Weight:425mg Sold as 2C-B, and reacted strongly to the presence of 2C-B when put through reagent testing, but the amount was too small to be detected by the FTIR spectrometer. As the 2C family of drugs are active in very small amounts, we suggest you approach these pills with caution. Found Feb 2024 |  |

Blue M30 oxycodone They do not contain oxycodone but instead a synthetic opioid called etonitazepyne. It acts quickly to produce strong sedative/depressant effects. This has been linked to a number of deaths in both the US and the UK. Seen in Wellington, March 2022 |  |
