“I really enjoy exploring what makes sense to me: freedom of expression, the freedom to be who we are without judgment, and the uniqueness that each human being has. It’s about acceptance and respect,” says Adelaide Khaled, a photographer whose art captures the spiritual intersection of dream and reality. Based in Portugal, Adelaide’s images are imbued with a dreamy, melancholic quality that motion viewers into a secretive world.

ot every day is a “bad bitch” day, and perhaps, therein lies one of life’s most profound lessons: Learning to accept it, and not always expecting it, is key. I find myself dancing around my room to my loud, favorite music, feeling incredibly creative and productive. In those moments, I’m so filled with joy I could kiss anyone, offer the world a big, warm hug.

Have you ever had that feeling of meeting someone who just “gets it”? You know, that spark of connection when you discover someone who shares your deepest passions? Those connections, we truly believe, are what make life so rich and meaningful. They lift us up and remind us that we’re not alone in our love for the unique and beautiful.

“During my time living in Cape Town, I found myself utterly fascinated by the majestic presence of Lion’s Head, an iconic landmark visible from every point in the city. Whether I was immersing myself in hikes, enjoying beach days, leisurely strolls, scenic drives, or simply savoring a moment over coffee, my camera was always at hand to capture the essence of this breathtaking mountain.”

Surrounded by the lively bustle of locals and tourists alike, Kelsey Petersen seemed to exist in a world of her own. Beyond her, the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean stretched endlessly towards the horizon, invitingly cool against the summer heat. Camps Bay, known for its breathtaking beauty and occasional shark sightings, provided the perfect scene for this idyllic moment.

Sharing her journey publicly became a source of strength, not just for Moon but for the many who found solace in her words and saw a reflection of their own struggles in her story. It is not easy to find words for such strokes of fate, and certainly, no consolation. Through her eyes, we are reminded of the power of creativity to transform pain into beauty, offering a sense of hope and healing, and deeply impacting others.

“I believe that the antidote for the rampant hyper-consumerism of the current day is creating and purchasing clothing that holds a greater purpose and meaning. Those are the pieces that will be worn and loved and passed down to your children.” tells us Olive, the founder of Sønderhaus. We had the pleasure of sitting down with her to delve deeper into the ethos of Sønderhaus and the brand’s commitment to sustainability and timeless style.

“When you start to find the answers you then realise that’s when the work actually begins – which is a little daunting and if I’m honest possibly not something I would have done had I not taken this path,” tells us photographer Jacqueline Giltrow in our exclusive interview. In it, we delve into the life of a woman who has embraced change and uncertainty, transforming them into inspiring experiences and artistic accomplishments.

“The birth of my son gave me super strength and power to move on,” begins Anna Bryzhana, reflecting on the key moments and inspirations in her life. Captured in the stunning landscapes of Tenerife Island, the latest photo series by photographer Vitalik Melnikov is a wonderful mix of honest moments and little details.

Ibiza might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of traveling during the autumn/winter season, but it can be a good tourism destination if you want to do more than spend the day by the beach (although with such high temperatures, I think you can still do so for a very long time after summer is over). I gave it a chance this November and have so much to share about it. The city of choice was Sant Antoni de Portmany.

“I’ve wanted to delve into street photography for a while now, which has passionately captivated me since my experience in NYC. In this particular set, you can smell the flowers, hear the shouts of the vendors, and feel transported to that warm and cloudy morning—you can hear the children running with their ball. It’s the kind of art I want to create. These are the stories I want to tell,” explains Alexander Tarazona to us.Accompanied by his gorgeous muse, Zhenya Mashkovska, he wandered around the Plaza de la Macarena, visiting the flower festival.

There’s ink in the palm of her hand that reads, Carry The Fire. She’s the warrior of the valley, she’s the lover of the desert souls, she’s the weaver of poise and humility. Artist and homesteader Lala Abaddon is the work of art. She walks alongside the feminine silhouettes of artists and their ghosts who too, left the Coasts, to wholeheartedly immerse themselves into the ruggedness of the Southwestern landscapes.

Jana Renée is an artist, a lover of colors and curves, and a fierce feline. Her hair is a sun and her smile hides a million secrets. With a body of work that celebrates the feminine in all its forms, from large scale murals adorning vibrant cities to sensual stained glass imagery, she conquers it all – with grace. A deeply rooted love for the action of creation or the act of creating itself, infused with Renée’s bright laugh and her ever so hopeful energy, seems to be the propeller of her practice.

“Analog photography teaches you to carefully pick the right moment,” begins the architect-turned-photographer Ashot Snkhchyan whose images create a sequence of life’s unfeigned spontaneity. His work reflects a pure, documentary character, akin to contemporary entries in a visual diary. Each frame is an authentic moment, uncontrived, unfiltered—a raw slice of life as seen through his discerning eye.

As we sat down for our conversation, I was reminded of the brisk late summer mornings. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air, a nod to Carlos’s affection for the brew. In our interview we talked about his journey in photography, the intriguing world of AI, and his love for design and life’s unpredictabilities.
